Countdown to Summit

June 15th 2011

I’m so excited I can barely sit still. I’ve been a coach since November 2010. As of today that is only 7 months. Boy how my life has changed since I said yes to being a coach with Team Beachbody. Mentally, physically, financially. All better, way better.

Looking forward to meeting friends in person. Looking forward to meeting my idol Shaun T. The man that changed my body. Looking foward to feeling the unbelievable energy in the room. I wish I was better at blogging. I have a full time job and spend my time on other things. I have so many things to say and place sharing them on the bottom of the list of mother, wife, employee, mentor, coach, etc. The only reason I’m blogging today is because my son is home from daycare sick and I’m working from home. I have a quick minute to jot down some words.

I used to be the person full of excuses and fear. Afraid to fail. Afraid to try. Afraid that people would make fun of me. Not anymore. Becoming a coach has changed everything about my attitude. I find it easier to put myself first. I make time to workout, I make time to eat better, I make time to be with my family doing activities. I make time for the family, friends, coaches and customers that deserve my time. I find it easier to say no to people that are energy vampires. I find it easier to blow off negative comments or attitudes. I don’t let them in my head. I love the Ghandi quote “I will not let anyone walk through my mind with dirty feet.” So true.

I’m flying high and want to help others be their best. Some people are doomed to fail. Some want help but are not sure how to ask. Some try, fail, and give up. Some come back again. It is interesting as an observer to see how others hide behind their excuses and fears to not succeed. I was there so I know. Now I wait. I wait until they reach out. If you want my help I’m here. If you want to complain about your life and are not willing to change then don’t call me. I only want to work with people that truly want change and are willing to make some changes. You can not have the “after” picture without changing the “before” attitude.

Things have been so exciting over the last several months. I’m on a success train and I’m allowing anyone on who wants to be successful. It is your choice if you will choose to take a chance and get on the train with me. It is only heading for success.

I’ll be facebooking and tweeting during the Coach Summit. I’ll try to blog a couple of times too. Thank you. Thank you for your love and support. Thank you for your inspiration. It fuels me to continue. I hope I can return the favor to you.
