Countdown to Competition Review
The Good The Bad and the Ugly
The holidays came and went. The new year rolled around. What is next? Another party. The Super Bowl party. What is next? Another weekend, another party, another reason to have pizza and beer. Another weekend to celebrate and not put our focus into our nutrition. Don't get me wrong we still worked out. We worked out HARD. We did Insanity Max 30 and rocked it.

You may or may not have followed me for a while. Let me recap things for you. I lost a large amount of weight a few years ago. I struggle with the last 10 pounds over and over. I struggle with getting the abs. Why? Because I treat myself with food. I treat myself with wine. I rarely skip workouts. I love working out now. Well, I don't love working out. I've completed the 21 Day Ultimate Reset a few times with great results.

First of all I LOVE 21 day programs. Love them! So easy to focus and stick to it. It is only 21 day. I’ve completed the 21 Day Ultimate Reset a few times with great results so I expected big things from the 21 Day Fix. Especially since the results of the people who completed in the test group lost an average of 10 pounds in the first round. Okay! I’m in. Where do I sign up? I was ready to fit in 2 rounds before we set sail
Weight Loss Plateaus occur when you no longer lose weight despite your exercise and nutrition efforts. To officially be in a plateau you must be at the same weight for at least 6 weeks or more. If you find your weight fluctuates after the weekend or after certain types of foods (salty, high carbs) then the plateau may be easier to push through than you think.
You usually lose more weight in the first few weeks/months of your weight loss efforts because of the change in your nutrition and exercise.
