Why should you make your own salad dressing
Have you ever really looked at your salad dressing label? I don’t have any here anymore. We make our own dressing. 90% of the time when we eat out I will ask for oil and vinegar. The other 10% I will have the house dressing.
It wasn’t until we completed the 21 day Ultimate Reset last year that we realized just how easy and yummy it is to make our own dressing.
Why make your own dressing?
- Cost savings
- Fewer preservatives and other Continue Reading >

Weight Loss Plateaus occur when you no longer lose weight despite your exercise and nutrition efforts. To officially be in a plateau you must be at the same weight for at least 6 weeks or more. If you find your weight fluctuates after the weekend or after certain types of foods (salty, high carbs) then the plateau may be easier to push through than you think.
You usually lose more weight in the first few weeks/months of your weight loss efforts because of the change in your nutrition and exercise.
Wow it has been well over a month since I made a post on my blog. I'm so sorry. Not that you are just sitting there waiting on my every word but I want to be more consistent with my blogging and info sharing. Many things happening in March.
Heading out on our 2nd Success Club trip soon. This year is Disney World. Our son is so excited he can barely sit still. He is counting down the days on a white board.
Take note of the sales happening in March.
P90X and P90X2 challenge packs are on sale.
In 2011 I was introduced to Insanity The Asylum. Insanity with even more intensity. Imagine Insanity while jumping rope and keeping your feet in an agility ladder. Imagine challenging yourself to the max. Having workouts more than 1 hour and defining the term "dig deeper" with every workout. My body changed in just 5 days when doing Aslyum volume 1. If I had changed my diet to be cleaner I would have had even more amazing results.
This time it is different. I've just finsihed the Beachbody Ultimate
BLT’s When I say BLT what do you think about? Probably bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich right? When I say BLT I mean Bites, licks and tastes. BLT’s can be the downfall of your nutrition and stop you from hitting your goal. The Ultimate Reset makes you aware just how much you spend calories on BLT’s.
I’m a BLT offender when I’m:
• Making my son his breakfast, lunch or dinner. If there is something on the side I would pop it in my mouth. Cut the crusts off his sandwich, I’ll
Winding down day 5 and we are rocking it. I’m down 9 pounds and Mark is down 7.
It is not just about the weight loss. It is about so much more. I’ve spent so many years going up and down. In the last 2 years of becoming a coach the yo-yo doesn’t go up and down as much. It is a few pounds here and there but never a big chunk either way. Except for this year.
We rocked the Ultimate Reset in May. I lost 13 pounds and Mark lost 16. Then we traveled and used that as an excuse to not stay on track.
We survived day 1. It's not that dramatic. The first time we did the reset it felt like we survived. This time it felt like we were just living. We were comfortable with the supplements and the recipes. We didn't have to check the book for everything.
We already know which meals or ingredients we like and don't like. We know that nutrition is the key. We kind of fell off of the wagon and let it roll over us for a good month. Only one day on the reset and we both feel better.
This is our second time to do the Reset. We are so much smarter this time around. Our first time was May 2012 and this is our second time beginning September 24. The book recommends beginning on a Wednesday so you can spend some of the most "difficult" days at home. Last time we started on a Monday and I didn't find it all that difficult. It is up to you. I liked the Monday is day 1 and Sunday is day 7. Seemed easier to monitor.
What we changed from the first Reset to day 1 of this Reset:

Beachbody Ultimate Reset again.
We did the reset back in May and had awesome results. We are beginning the Reset again Monday September 24th. This time around I'm going to commit to posting a blog and video about it every day to document our progress the second time around.
Get ready!
We have some very aggressive goals for our health and fitness over the next 90 days. The Reset is going to set us up for success for the first month.
