Only Narcissists Post on Social Media

May 11th 2015
You've heard that before right? Social media is for narcissists. Everyone posts selfies and are looking for likes. No one cares about others and they just care about themselves. Or they are just a bunch of drama queens posting the "my life sucks" please comfort me while my life continues to suck. We spend our time reading about other people's lives and disconnect from our own. We get so involved with arguing about things with people we don't even know. While some of that might be true I firmly believe Continue Reading >

What is the Design of YOUR life?

April 23rd 2015
You hear advice from all of the gurus. They tell you to follow your passion. They tell you that those living the best lives are in careers that match their calling. How? How do you get started on your passion when you are working a full time job to pay the bills? How do you even know what your passion is? I wish I had this advice when I was in my 20's. I wish someone had told me to pick a career that I really wanted to do and not just one that paid well. Sure my business degree is helpful and Continue Reading >

Top reasons why people say no

November 17th 2014
You say no. You say no every day. How often do you really say yes? Think about it. We get up, drive to work, say yes to the boss, say yes to working late, say yes to being the room mom, say yes to soccer, say yes to the big Christmas list, say yes to everything but to ourselves. I spend time every day inviting people to join me in a health and fitness challenge group. Talking to people and getting them to open up about their goals is not easy. It requires a relationship and trust. The reasons Continue Reading >

What are YOUR Excuses?

September 15th 2014
We all have excuses. You've heard the saying "You either find a way or find an excuse." If you haven't heard it yet, now you have. I agree with it too. You pick to do or not do things based on your priorities and excuses. Do you agree? Lets take a closer look into the excuse vs. finding a way theory. Find a way based on priority: -Pick up your kids at school by a certain time. -In a car accident and must go to the emergency room -Go to the bathroom -Eat a meal -Get to work on time -Take Continue Reading >

The 21 Day Fix is on!

July 30th 2014
This year has been an up and down struggle. The struggle with the scale. I've been sabotaging myself after every success. I completed a round of the 21 day fix with flying colors. Had great results. Then I went on a cruise and reversed it all. Then I kept beating myself up and starting over and beating myself up and starting over. I would look back at my awesome results and wish I hadn't stopped. I have zero problem working out. I love to workout. I love the way working out makes me feel. We Continue Reading >

Which one is better? The 21 Day Fix or Weight Watchers?

May 10th 2014
21 Day Fix vs. Weight Watchers? How do you know what program will work for you? Why do I have any expertise on this topic? Why on earth listen to me? You don’t have to listen to me but you will have a better understanding of the differences and similarities of the programs. I’ve been a Weight Watcher member for years. Off and on for years. The last time I signed up again was in April 2009 right before my 20 year high school reunion. I’ve been through many programs they offer and they Continue Reading >
