Beachbody Ultimate Reset Day 5

September 28th 2012
Winding down day 5 and we are rocking it. I’m down 9 pounds and Mark is down 7. It is not just about the weight loss. It is about so much more. I’ve spent so many years going up and down. In the last 2 years of becoming a coach the yo-yo doesn’t go up and down as much. It is a few pounds here and there but never a big chunk either way. Except for this year. We rocked the Ultimate Reset in May. I lost 13 pounds and Mark lost 16. Then we traveled and used that as an excuse to not stay on track. Continue Reading >

Beachbody 21 day Ultimate Reset – Preparation for Day 1

September 23rd 2012
This is our second time to do the Reset. We are so much smarter this time around. Our first time was May 2012 and this is our second time beginning September 24. The book recommends beginning on a Wednesday so you can spend some of the most "difficult" days at home. Last time we started on a Monday and I didn't find it all that difficult. It is up to you. I liked the Monday is day 1 and Sunday is day 7. Seemed easier to monitor. What we changed from the first Reset to day 1 of this Reset: -Drinking Continue Reading >

Beachbody Ultimate Reset 21 days in review We did it. We made it through the 21 days. Today is the 21st day. As I’m typing this I’m about to go to bed and feel amazing gratitude that I completed this. I didn’t give up. What did I realize in the 21 days? I can live without chocolate, wine, snacking, and eating out. I have more self-control than I realized. I have major amounts of energy based on the food I put in my body. I have more restful sleep when I feed my body food that Continue Reading >

Scatter-Brained

March 19th 2012
Scatter Brained Over the moon with excitement about this upcoming trip to the Bahamas. I have to perform a brain dump. I spent most of my adult life insecure about myself. The way I looked, the way I felt, and in my abilities to do anything. I was afraid to try. I was afraid to fail. I was afraid. Even when I was at my lowest weight ever I was still critical of myself. I needed a flatter stomach. I needed to be a smaller size. I never looked at myself and said nice things. I would look at other Continue Reading >

Change. Do you really want it? Are you ready for the Challenge?

March 17th 2012
Change. Do you really want it? Are you ready for the Challenge? I’m not singling out any one person in this post. I’ve had tons of people tell me they want help. They want to lose weight. They want to feel better. In the same breath they also tell me that they do not want to work out, they do not want to get up early, they don’t have time, or they don’t have money. I have to ask my spouse, I’m going on vacation, I’ve been sick, I’ve got a lot going on. The list goes on and on. My Continue Reading >
